Reston's village centers and neighborhoods
Reston was planned around five village centers: Lake Anne, Hunters Woods, Tall Oaks, South Lakes and North Point. The homes near each range from modernist townhouse clusters to single-family houses and condominium buildings. We work in all of them, and we plan each bathroom around the type of building it is in.

Why the county matters
Reston and its neighbors Vienna, Great Falls and Oakton are in Fairfax County, so permitting runs through Fairfax County Land Development Services. Reston itself has no town government, so there is no separate town office to deal with. Ashburn and Sterling are in Loudoun County, which runs its own process. Knowing which office applies keeps a project from stalling.
